 Jeff Catlin is the CEO of Lexalytics and has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of search, classification and text analytics products and services. He has held technical, managerial and senior management positions within a variety of companies including Thomson Financial and Sovereign Hill Software. His roots go back to the earliest days of search on the Internet, where he worked on the development and scaling of the Infoseek search platform. Prior to the formation of Lexalytics, Mr Catlin acted as the General Manager for the unstructured data group of Astoria Software (formerly LightSpeed Software). He was responsible for sales, marketing and development efforts for the Knowledge Appliance, currently the Lexalytics Salience solution, and the iFocus products.
Prior to joining LightSpeed, he was co-owner of PleasantStreet Technologies, which produced a news-filtering product. Jeff and his partner were able to build a viable business and sell PleasantStreet Technologies to Chiliad Publishing in the fall of 2001. Mr Catlin recently oversaw the merger of Lexalytics with Infonic's Text Analytics Division to form a new company called Lexalytics, Limited. This new entity is the leader in sentiment analysis for enterprise applications. Jeff graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987, and then worked on the GPS navigation system during its development phase.

 Steve Sieck is a management consultant and industry analyst with over twenty-five years' experience helping the world's leading information content and enabling-technology providers develop new products, enter new markets, make strategic investment decisions and align organizational resources with strategic and financial objectives.
In 2006, Mr. Sieck formed SKS Advisors, Inc., an independent consultancy helping media and information companies to accelerate innovation and capitalize more effectively on new business opportunities. Since then, the firm has provided strategy consulting services to clients in business to business media, engineering information, information technology, academic research, educational publishing, law publishing, medical information, historical collections, intellectual property, and financial services.
Previously, Mr. Sieck led the U.S. market entry of EPS, Ltd, a London-based provider of information industry advice, analysis, and industry intelligence. As Managing Partner, he managed US client relationships, led transatlantic strategic consulting engagements, and contributed to EPS' ongoing analysis of information markets and industry trends.
Prior to EPS, Mr. Sieck served as Industry Practice Leader for the Media & Entertainment practice at e-commerce integrator iXL/Scient, and managed many critical information industry strategy consulting engagements as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services. Earlier in his career, as Vice President, Electronic Services, he helped lead interactive media research pioneer LINK Resources from its initial startup to becoming a major division of IT industry research leader IDC. He recently served as the elected vice chairman of the Software & Information Industry Association's Content Division board of directors, and on the eContent 100 judging team.

 Patrick Spain is the co-founder, Chairman & CEO of Newser. He was formerly the CEO of HighBeam Research, a rapidly growing online research company based in Chicago, which he founded in 2002 and sold to Cengage Learning in December 2008. Spain was also the co-founder and long-time chairman and CEO of Hoover’s, Inc., leading it from a small book publisher when he became CEO in 1992 to a profitable, publicly traded company with $31 million in revenue in 2001. He remained on the Board until Hoover’s was sold to Dun & Bradstreet in 2003. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Spain worked as a consultant, lawyer, and executive in the telecommunications industry, and as a real estate developer.  Charles Terry is a 30 year veteran of online information, e-content and real-time news businesses including 14 years with CompuServe, 9 years as CEO of COMTEX News Network and most recently president of MarketResearch.com. Throughout his career, Terry has been in a missionary role chartered to create new markets with innovative information and network-based products.
At CompuServe in the 80's, Terry was on the forefront of B2B go-to-market initiatives for new products including electronic mail, videotext, financial information databases, and other network-based applications. From the mid-90's through the dot com bust, Terry was CEO of COMTEX News Network, created the largest aggregator and re-seller network of real-time news. Most recently, Terry was president of MarketResearch.com where he doubled their revenue through the acquisition of Profound from Thomson-Reuters.
Terry graduated from Brown University with an independent major in Management Sciene. Terry serves on several publishing industry boards and advisory boards including the New England Center for Investigative Reporting, the Global Media Forum, and Anne Holland Ventures.  Kelly Thompson serves as the chief operating officer of iStockphoto, overseeing the global strategy and operational leadership of iStockphoto’s products, services, technology and sales.
Kelly has served in several roles at iStockphoto, most recently, executive vice president. In his initial role as vice president of marketing in 2004, he propelled the company from a few thousand photographers and thousands of clients to a worldwide presence with half a million clients, making microstock a compelling new business for Getty Images to acquire. Kelly is still a programmer at heart, despite his business acumen, and has been the driving force behind many iStock innovations, such as the patent-pending CopySpace™, which many in the industry are now trying to duplicate and advanced search features at iStock.
Prior to iStockphoto, he was senior brand manager at the enterprise search company Verity, Inc.

 Rob Urbanowicz is a Geehan Group Principal and Vice President of Client Services, responsible for the delivery and execution of all Geehan services. Rob joined Geehan in November, 2006, and has an extensive background in consulting, marketing and sales, including 20 years of experience.
At Geehan, he leads delivery of our end-to-end service portfolio for our strategic customer centric programs, including advisory boards, summits and other executive programs. He is a highly experienced executive facilitator and leads the global Springer Library Advisory Board program for the Geehan team. His client base also includes Oracle, Microsoft, Broadlane, Standard Register, Autodesk, Business Objects, Harris and others.
Rob came to Geehan Group from Reynolds and Reynolds, where he served as the Director of Marketing responsible for all CRM Customer Marketing and CRM Technology initiatives, and was actively involved with Reynolds Customer Advisory Board. Prior to Reynolds, Rob spent 15 years with Deloitte, and was Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting, responsible for the Ohio Valley region's Customer Relationship Management practice, including developing strategies and implementing CRM programs for Fortune 1000 companies. Rob has extensive industry experience in high-tech, software, manufacturing and automotive, and worked with clients such as Gateway, Johnson & Johnson, Dow and Safelite.

 Mark Walker is the Region Business Leader for Yahoo! News and Education, where he oversees the industry-leading news and education properties in the North American Region. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Mark was co-principal, alongside music industry legend Al Teller, of Oceanaix Ventures LLC, a media consultancy advising investment firms, including Acorn Capital Management and Tracer Capital Management. As the head of international legal and business affairs at BMG Entertainment from 2000 to 2003, Mark led BMG's legal and business affairs activities in more than 48 countries worldwide. He was the Executive Vice President, Business Affairs of Atomic Pop LLC (an Internet music company financed by the Apollo Group) and Senior Vice President, Business Affairs for Red Ant Entertainment, an independent record label financed by Wasserstein Perrella & Co. Mark's entertainment industry career began in 1993 with PolyGram Records (now part of Universal Music Group); first as Director, Legal Affairs and ultimately as Vice President, Legal Affairs. From 1988 until 1993, he was an associate in the Media Finance Group of the O'Melveny & Myers law firm in New York. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Pi Tau Sigma) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and J.D. from Stanford University.

Prior to co-founding ebrary®, Mr. Warnock consulted at Stanford University, where he helped develop a method in which University Presses could implement an electronic workflow solution for the electronic distribution of publications. He also provided feasibility research for Octavo Corporation, which publishes and preserves rare books and manuscripts using advanced digital tools and formats. From 1991-1996, he worked at Adobe Systems as a systems engineer, project manager, and product marketing manager for Adobe Acrobat. Mr. Warnock holds a B.S. in Philosophy from the University of Utah.

 Based in Princeton, NJ., Mr. Warren is responsible for global solution strategy and direction in the Research and Knowledge Worker segment of the Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group. Mr. Warren joined Dow Jones in April of 1998 as an Enterprise Sales Consultant in the Interactive Publishing division. Since that time, he has served in a variety of roles at Dow Jones and Factiva, including Business Development Channel Manager, Product Manager, Manager of the CEO’s Office, Director of Global Sales Operations, Director of Commercial Policy, Managing Director of FIS Private Markets, and Executive Director of the EMG Program Office. Mr. Warren is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Communications. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.

 Richard (Dick) H. Weaver, Senior Vice President, Infotrieve, Inc. Mr. Weaver joined Infotrieve as Senior Vice President in January 2006. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience within the information industry and expertise in the areas of development, operations, technology, and marketing for information-based services. Formerly, Mr. Weaver was Vice President, Account Management for CentrPort, Inc., an e-marketing company that served the automotive, telecommunications, and travel and leisure industries. Other recent positions include Vice President, Agricultural Producer Services at DTN, and Vice President of One System Group, LLC, a wholly owned IT outsourcing subsidiary of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Mr. Weaver also successfully founded and developed two start-up businesses that specialized in the delivery of electronic information services to farmers and commodity traders. Mr. Weaver began his career in 1974 as a research statistician for the United Nations, based in Iceland. He holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and a M.S. degree in Statistics from Colorado State University. He is also a graduate of the University of Kansas Leadership Institute.
