Mike O'Donnell has worked in the digital content industry for more than 20 years. He founded Ask-Me Multimedia in 1985, which enabled content creators to produce and distribute multimedia applications on personal computers. In 1995, he led the launch of SPRYNET, one of the first national ISPs that aggregated digital content and gave subscribers their first home page on the Internet. In 1998, he founded iCopyright to help content publishers protect and monetize their digital assets. Over the last 10 years O'Donnell designed and launched iCopyright Conductor, an instant licensing system for large publishers; iCopyright Creators, an instant licensing system for freelance writers and photographers; iCopyright Discovery, a digital content monitoring and infringement detection tool; and Clip&Copy, a news alerts and press clippings service for commercial users of digital content. O'Donnell has served on the board of the Software & Information Industry Association content division and has authored a number of authoritative articles and white papers on monetizing digital content.
